Oh boy, so here is the problem. I’m 45 years of age and I never had any children. But my sister gave birth to a beautiful girl last year and her first birthday is quickly approaching. While it is relatively easy to find toys for children of two years and older, I had trouble finding something adequate for a baby. It’s also to some extent my paranoia of me making a gift that could potentially harm that little thing, which is obviously the last thing I want. My girlfriend told me I should play it safe and look into something to wear and that’s when the whole idea of looking into 1st Birthday Outfits for Girls came about.

Long story short: after running from store to store with dissatisfying results, I decided to go online and that’s where I found the White Pink Balloon Boutique Outfit. First of all, the item comes in a number of different sizes so there is plenty of flexibility.

While I’m obviously not the subject matter expert on baby outfits, I can certainly attest to the fact that the dress looks very cute. And it's soft! It comes with a garment bag and a hanger, plus a bow and gift tag. So you pretty much get everything you need which is exactly what I was looking for.

So here is what I suggest: unless you really know what you’re doing, go and buy 1st birthday dresses for girls online and stay away from the stores. Not that they don’t have an abundance of clothing for babies, however, it’s just so ridiculously expensive. And while I am totally happy with paying a little bit more for a gift to ensure the quality is okay, there are limits. And paying $80 or even over $100 for a baby outfit is just unreasonable.

All I can tell you is that according to her parents, my now ‘1 year and 10 days old’ nice Lea loves her new attire (and her uncle..;-)..)! Oh, and by the way, my sister told me that she had to wash the outfit twice already and it didn’t shrink!
